The new LG Gram Titanium notebook focuses on everyday use, but surprises with a high level of processing and mobility.
Regardless of brand or focus, notebooks are increasingly on the market. Whether due to the great possibilities that the new technologies guarantee, or the facilities that the mobility of the devices makes possible.
In this line, the LG Gram Titanium comes with the proposal to be a lightweight and effective notebook for everyday use. But it may surprise him. That’s what we’ll show in this full review.
At first glance, this does not appear to be a very rugged computer at construction level but according to South Korean manufacturer, this LG Gram has certifications that ensure that this equipment is highly resistant.
With the LG Gram being thin and light, you can expect it to be a fragile and precious machine. this is an excellent device having passed seven of MIL-STD 810G military standard tests.
It is shock-resistant, dust-resistant and can even withstand extreme temperatures: place it in a freezer or leave it in the burning noon sun – the LG Gran will survive the experience.
Due to the low weight, this is a 15.6 “computer that can be easily transported. LG even says you can hold the device with just two fingers, and the truth is that this is even possible.
Here we have one of the flagship of the LG Gram Titanium. The design of the notebook is very elegant and fine, with interesting details and great workmanship.
Even though it appears to be fragile, LG itself ensures that the Gram is very sturdy, since it was made with nano carbon and magnesium.
In addition, according to the company, he went very well for no less than 7 US Department of Defense tests, being recognized by the MIL-STD 810G standard.
However, the most surprising thing about LG Gram Titanium is its lightness. With an exact 1095 g and dimensions of 357.6 x 16.8 x 228.4 mm, the notebook is incredibly compact for its 15.6 inches. It is ultra-thin and with very small edges, which helps keep the screen very comfortable in such a small design size.
LG gram 15Z980 – Screen
This 15.6-inch IPS panel is as strong as I expected from LG, which obviously knows a thing or two about eye pleasing eyes.
For starters, Full HD resolution keeps everything sharp. High-definition movies look great, the photos are full of intricate detail, and you’ll have no trouble working on the most ridiculously complicated worksheets.
At top brightness, visibility is never a problem. Even when working outdoors on a sunny day, I’ve never seen myself looking or changing my mind. The screen can tilt to about 160 degrees to suit your work environment while the viewing angles are also strong.

LG gram 15Z980 – battery life
The LG grass is pleasantly portable as far as weight is concerned, but how about battery life? After all, it’s no use taking the device every day if it’s dead by lunchtime.
Fortunately, I was more than happy with my use of all charges. Even when multitasking non-stop with office apps, browsers, and streaming music software, I got seven full hours of playback before the laptop gave up. If you decrease the screen brightness and eliminate nonessential features, it will stay even longer.
In the standard battery test of Trusted Reviews (which involves looping video playback and web browsing to death) once again the LG grass impressed. I’ve seen just over 12 hours of life from start to finish, which outweighs most rival hands – even those with big, fat batteries inside.
