With just under a month of official announcements, new information regarding Sony’s most powerful high-performance smartphone for the first half of 2019 is coming back indicating that, in fact, the company can bet all its best to compete directly with new models from Huawei, Samsung, Xiaomi and several other weight manufacturers.
Sony began distributing invitations to the Italian and Russian media for an event closed during the Mobile World Congress 2019 (MWC) in Barcelona at the end of next month. Invitations to American and English media should follow soon, according to the Xperia Blog.
The action has again caused rumblings about what the company will have to present, as speculation tells us that Sony will take the opportunity to unveil the Xperia XZ4, its next hi-end device.
The Sony Xperia XZ4 is expected to be the next top-of-the-line smartphone from the Japanese electronics giant with an upcoming presentation of the MWC 2019. We have seen a steady stream of leaks on the next smartphone, which will be the fourth flagship of the series Xperia XZ.
Rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, previous releases of the Sony Xperia XZ4 also dropped a 6.5-inch screen with a 21: 9 aspect ratio.
So far we know that the XZ4 is expected to offer a 6.5-inch screen with OLED technology at an extremely high ratio of 21: 9, which can become the industry standard for years to come.
As for the Xperia XZ4, it is a smartphone that judging by the various rumors and leaks of information, could present itself as the ‘savior of the manufacturer’. With a 6.5 inch screen and QHD resolution, it will surprise everyone and everyone in an incredible 21: 9 format. There was a more humble version – the XZ4 Compact – but Sony has already confirmed that it canceled the project.
