The Dell G7 7588 15-note notebook is one of the manufacturer’s new mid-range notebooks, aimed primarily at anyone who wants a quality machine but does not want to waste horrors.
When a need arose for new equipment here on the site, that was our choice, because we think this is the best notebook cost benefit of 2019
The Dell G7 is an intermediate gamer notebook released in July 2018. The computer comes with a variety of specifications such as Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or 1060 MaxQ graphics cards.
With 15.6-inch screen in Full HD, the device still has several storage options and RAM, which can go up to 16 GB DDR4.

Keyboard, trackpad and connections
The keyboard and trackpad are comfortable, the keys respond well to touch and are relatively low. The standard is American, which can be a nuisance, so take that into account.
It is worth mentioning that the blue glow of the keyboard is beautiful, but this color often annoys the eyes, especially in the dark. On the other hand it is possible to decrease the intensity, but a white would be much more pleasant.
On one side we find two USB ports, HDMI, P2 and Thunderbolt with USB-C, and the other has a USB port, RJ45 for internet and SD card reader, there is more is slow, reaching about 20 MB / s on a card that supports up to 45 MB / s.
Maintenance and upgrade
The interesting thing is to be able to access all the hardware by removing only one screw, the rest is stuck only by the plastic of the lid itself, something that can be a problem if you break these little feet, but it makes it much easier to update a part.
Still about hardware upgrade, almost everything can be accessed with ease, as I commented. It has two RAM space and one for SSD M.2 on the old HD side. The battery is also easy to remove if for some reason you need to replace it.
Just do not expect to be able to use it for long, because it has no autonomy at all. This is normal for notebooks that claim to be gamer. The battery here is 56Wh and 4 cells. Expect to achieve at most 3 hours of light use.
